We use a FoodSaver vacuum sealer to seal our longer term storage dried goods. We generally seal 1.5 liter mason jars of various flours, sugars, oats, nuts, pancake mix, oat meals etc. etc. etc.
Just cracked a jar of bread flour today that was sealed 2.5 years ago (50lb bag price was to good to be true back then (more so now).
Nasty little critters can’t live in a vacuum!
