….or somewhere. Now this is a good idea for domestic kitchens in my view. In one restaurant I worked in we cooked things like vegetables in big mesh strainers. This is a similar idea and neatly replaces those difficult to clean colanders we’ve been using for years. Keep an eye on it though……they may be taking over!

Whether you are blanching, boiling, or steaming, the Food Pod keeps all your eggs in one basket. Or all your veggies in one net. Or all your mussels in one package. You get the idea. Now that we know how many ways silicon can be incorporated into silicone kitchen gadgets, is there no end to the clever tools that are going to crop up?
I know it looks like something off of a spaceship, but I really really want one of these. Even though it’s in an icky green color. It keeps all your food items together, acts as a strainer, lets you reserve the cooking water, and can be stuck into the dishwasher! About $15.
